RU-Fix |
The Ru-Fix Nailing System represents a unique, innovative concept in the treatment of diaphyseal Radius & Ulna fractures.

THE PROCEDURE
-
Closed reduction and percutaneous intramedullary fixation.
-
Minimally invasive procedure: inserted in a reduced diameter of 4.5mm and expands to up to 7mm.
-
Expanded using a proprietary saline pump.
-
Easy to use, reduced operating time, reduced blood loss and fluoroscopy exposure.
-
Reduced risk of vascular injuries; minimized soft tissue damage, thereby reducing the risk of infection.

FEATURES
-
Immediate and homogeneous fixation along the entire length of the nail.
-
The nail adapts itself to the “hour-glass” shape of the medullary canal.
-
Superior fixation and optimal rotational stability allowing early function and prompt pain relief.
INDICATIONS
-
Closed or open, proximal, middle and distal third shaft fractures.
-
Non union/mal union of diaphyseal fractures.
